Introductory Membership Offer

Published on June 2, 2011 by

In 2010 the club brought in an introductory offer of £30 for all new members to the club (excluding past members who were re-joining).

As with all bowling clubs we are continually looking to increase membership and what better way than having a reduced fee for your first season with the club.

If you live in the local area and are interested in joining why not visit the club and ask for an application form.

Gents Opening Day

Published on April 18, 2012 by

Saturday saw the Gents take to the green for Opening Day.

The green was officially opened by President Hamilton along with his wife Jenny. Rumour has it Jenny was practising her delivery in the hallway for days prior to the big event.

With practice comes perfection and what more could we ask for than a chalker with the first bowl of the season. Well done Jenny.

We had a great turnout from the Gents as well as from other clubs, thanks to those who attended from Arthurlie, Crookston, Shanks, Lillybank & Neilston.

Everyone seemed to enjoy their day (some more than others, less said the better).

I’d just like to take this time to wish everyone at the club and the district all the very best for the coming season and here’s hoping we can improve on the honours won by the club last season.
